After serving in the US Army, Jeff returned to his native North Carolina and settled in Raleigh and in 1989 began to peruse his real estate career.   Jeff got married and started a family when he moved to the NC Mountains in 1996 going to work for Fairfield Communities.   Jeffrey along with his family moved from Cashiers NC to North Myrtle Beach in 1998 and has been a homeowner at Barefoot Resort & Golf since 2001.
